  Velo Club Monterey Holiday Party 

  Join us for a fun-filled evening of celebration, community, and cheer at the Monterey Peninsula Yacht Club!

  Whether you’ve been riding with us all year or just love the spirit of cycling, we invite you to celebrate the holiday season with fellow riders and friends. We’ll have great food, drinks, music, and it's free! Don’t forget to wear your festive best (cycling-themed attire encouraged, of course)! All the food and drinks will be provided so just show up and have fun!

• 2024 Santa Cycle Ride

  SANTA RIDES AGAIN!

  
  

  – the 8th Annual Santa Cycle Ride is on Saturday, December 21st at 12 noon beginning at the entrance to Monterey Wharf. 

  Meet up at Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey by 11:50 so we can organize and roll out at noon.

  
  

  The group will ride along the bike path towards Pacific Grove, continue on Ocean View Blvd. and take a left on Asilomar Ave. Go past PG Golf and up the hill to Rich and Candy's for a Holiday snack. Then we'll do a couple of laps of downtown PG, and it's back on the bike path with a side trip down Cannery Row, the final destination being Dust Bowl Brewing. Riders may purchase their own drinks from Dust Bowl and the Taco Truck will be open as well. All bikes have to be left outside the fence.

  Support Gathering For Women

  One again this year, we’re raising funds for "Gathering for Women", a charity that reaches out to local  women.  Their vision is for the unhoused and housing insecure Women on the Monterey Peninsula to live a healthier, more secure life that includes a pathway out of houselessness or housing insecurity. We will be collecting checks and cash at Dust Bowl after the ride.
