Monthly Metric Century Ride

With the start of the New Year comes a new regular ride. Beginning Sunday, February 4th,  and on the first Sunday of every month, you are invited to join the Monthly Metric Century Ride. These rides will be 60-65 miles and vary in route from month to month.

The February ride will start from the Safeway parking lot off Route 1 in Carmel at 8:30 a.m., Sunday the 4th (weather permitting). The route works its way through Carmel, along a brief section of Route 1, over Aguajito Road, down to the Rec trail, out to Castroville, past Elkhorn Slough, to Kirby Park and then reverses for a total of 63 miles and 3,400 feet of climbing.

There are places along the route for water, coffee, and bathroom breaks.
