  • On June 17, Balance Yoga and Wellness in Pacific Grove hosted VCM members for a strength training circuit class designed specifically for cyclists. A huge thanks to Julie for putting together a great program. If you are interested, they offer a wide variety of strength and balance classes for all experience levels. 
  • The opportunity to purchase the new Velo Club kit ended June 15. We are expecting orders to be shipped on or around July 15 and are looking forward to seeing everyone out on the road in their new attire.
  • The summer travel season is here and VCM members are on the road for biking adventures.

Peggy B. had some spectacular riding with Bike Rides Northwest in Oregon doing a 380 mile loop starting and ending in Corvallis: 

Heidi H., Mark C, Martin A. and Clair A. are currently traversing France from the north to the south. Let's hope the heat breaks:
Upcoming Club Activities
  • The July Monthly Metric Century ride will be this Sunday, July 5 at 8:30 a.m. We will meet in the Starbucks parking lot on Rio Road in Carmel. We will take a coastal route through Pebble Beach and out to Pezzini’s and back. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/45762385
  • Save the date. The annual VCM summer picnic will be Sunday, August 9. Mark K. has once again agreed to host at the Coniglio Valley House. Details and a separate invitation will be sent in later this month.
